Competition/ Antitrust

Within the area of Competition and Antitrust, Chambers Global ranks Tadmor & Co. as Band 1.

Chambers Global notes that the firm represents a variety of clients before the IAA, with particularly significant cases including mandates from El Al Airlines, Apple and Novartis. The team is also representing First International Bank of Israel in the appeal against the IAA information cartel ruling. Several individuals within the nine-lawyer team have had experience working for the IAA, giving them particular insight into the regulator's operations.

Projects and Energy

Chambers Global ranks Tadmor & Co's. Project and Energy team very highly and notes that "This firm handles an increasing number of mandates related to the renewable energy sector. Examples include advising Migdal Insurance on its investment in domestic solar power projects, as well as representing Bank Hapoalim on the financing of a 5MW solar power project, valued at USD35 million. The skills of Efrat Shapira-Orren, a partner in the Projects and Energy team are also recognized by Chambers Global where she is noted as an up and coming talent, particularly in the field of tender law.

Corporate/M&A

The skill of Tadmor & Co's. corporate/M&A practice is recognized by Chambers Global.

The team has handled several matters in the telecoms, media and renewable energy sectors, both regulatory and transactional. A particular highlight was representing Sahar Investments in its merger with Enlight, creating a renewable energy company that is publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange."

Yoel Neeman, the head of the Corporate/M&A practice group is acknowledged by Chambers Global for the "extensive experience in a variety of M&A matters, and is commended for his expertise in cross-border work".

Real Estate

Chambers Global recognizes the skills of Tadmor and Co's. real estate practice as well as the particular expertise of Yaron Grofman, the practice area leader. Yaron works on real estate mandates for a range of clients, including funds, construction companies and developers.

Chambers Global states that a "particular focus on the residential market is one of the distinguishing features of this firm, which has been retained in connection with a number of the 'Pinui Binui' urban rehabilitation projects taking place across the country. These include an 850-unit residential development in Petach Tikva and a 528-unit residential project in Givatayim. Tax

The Tadmor & Co. tax team is recognized by Chambers Global for its breadth of expertise. The Chamber's Global Guide states that "The firm handles a wide range of international tax mandates, including representing Israeli companies with operations overseas, and providing tax advice to multinational clients in relation to major cross-border M&A transactions. The practice has also been retained by newcomers to Israel, following the new tax incentives for recent immigrants".

The experience of Tali Yaron-Elder, the practice leader, is specifically recognized by Chambers Global. Tali  worked for many years with the Israeli tax authorities prior to joining the firm, including a spell as Income Tax Commissioner. She advises high net worth individuals and industry leaders on strategic issues.
