Capital Markets & Securities Law

In a global economy such as Israel's, companies require their capital markets and financial regulation advice to not only be cutting edge and innovative but also precise and compliant with local standards. Our Capital Markets and Securities Law team has the experience and know-how and we have acted in a variety of complex matters for Israeli and foreign companies, investment houses, banks, financial institutions and leading entities in Israel's capital market.

The team provides advice with respect to securities and other corporate and regulatory matters, including:

  • securities and capital markets regulation;
  • financial services regulation;
  • corporate governance;
  • securities-related internal compliance programs;
  • representation of companies and interest groups in relation to legislative procedures;
  • administrative enforcement proceedings of the Israel Securities Authority; and
  • reporting requirements and filings with the Israel Securities Authority and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

The team brings together expertise across a number of skills, including banking and corporate law, to provide clients with an innovative, experienced but above all commercial approach to structuring their investments, transactions and other business.

Some of our recent matters include advising international financial institutions with respect to the regulatory requirements associated with doing business in Israel and counseling and representing companies before Israeli supervisory and regulatory agencies and bodies.

Our Capital Markets and Securities Law Group is headed by Amir Scharf who also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Israel Bar Association Capital Markets Committee and was previously Deputy Director of the Legal Department in the Israel Securities Authority.
