Telecom & Media

Today's fast paced and ever changing technological and regulatory environment means that communications companies are constantly having to update, adapt and develop in order to succeed.  At Tadmor & Co. we understand that in this constantly changing environment, it is vital to our clients that we also keep up with global changes and new technologies.  We provide our clients with advice that is cutting edge and creative, and we think ahead so that our clients can be a step ahead of the market.

The Telecommunications and Media Group provides the full scope of services to our clients, including advice on:

  • licensing and regulatory matters;
  • access and network;
  • specific tax issues;
  • competition and antitrust;
  • contracts;
  • dispute resolution;
  • outsourcing and infrastructure deals; and
  • financing.

Telecommunications and Media are heavily regulated industries and as such we work closely with the antitrust and regulatory team to ensure that our clients are able to forge favorable outcomes when dealing with competitors, partners and regulators. We take an holistic approach and also work closely with the tax group, the M&A group and corporate group.

The firm represents leading companies and bodies in Israel's telecom and media sector. Our relationship with these clients is long term and we are able to provide integrated and practical advice as we understand their business.

Some of our more recent deals include:

  • successfully obtaining the IAA's approval for the major telecommunications merger between Partner Telecommunications and 012 Smile;
  • representing Apple Inc in its applications to approve iPhone distribution agreements; and
  • advising Partner Telecommunications on various issues that involve the Ministry of Communications as well as other public committees.  Tadmor & Co. also represent Partner Telecommunications in all aspects of the process involved in opening up the Israeli fixed market to full competition.
